| System Connector | The configuration (URL and credentials) for an instance of a work system (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira Software, ServiceNow, etc.). |
| Global Mapping | A reusable set of synchronization rules, entity types, entity fields, and link mappings that can be shared across multiple sync processes. |
| DevOps Gate Process | A process that defines how to enrich or link work system entities or code, often triggered by external systems (e.g., CI/CD tools). |
